My name is Dylan Singler, and I am the head instructor of USA Karate Germantown, Many parents are looking for a fun SAFE after school activity that would not only be enjoyable for the children but full of life skills such as confidence, focus, and improved self-esteem. Our Virtual after school classes have been a huge success since we implemented them back March of 2020. With over 500 kids doing virtual classes, we have became experts at on-line fun. These classes will teach the same award winning Martial Arts curriculum as our physical locations giving each student the coordination and physical fitness to live a healthier lifestyle.
We also understand that most schools fundraising will be limited due to the current situation, so we believe this program can help in that area as well. This is how it will work:
1. School will Send email to parents of the students offering the virtual Martial arts after school program.
2. Parents will call the USA Karate to set up a free virtual class to test the waters and see how Martial Arts classes can benefit their child.
3. Parents who wish to continue will be sent a online registration form allowing them to pay for classes.
4. Cost for the program; $99 for one month of classes, and a FREE uniform!
5. The school will be sent $25 for the principal discretionary fund for each child who enrolls!
So if 25 children opt in, the principle will receive a check for $625; 50 kids $1,250 and so on.

The Department of Coordinated School Health and USA Karate Germantown teamed up to give a unique opportunity to our elementary school students! USA Karate provided a Valentine's themed coloring sheet for an art contest they put together for our students. The owners of the facility selected a winner from lots of great submissions and that lucky student received some gift cards as a token of our appreciation. Way to go GMSD, DES, and USA Karate for another successful event!
