Skills: Cardiovascular Fitness, Manipulative skills (speed stacks)
Description: Students will be separated into 8-10 teams. Students will stand at a designated spot, in line, on the circle. To start the game, each group will have one, out of their 12 cups, that they will have to retreat. Lesson: Stackers vs Blasters
Grade(s): K-5
Skills: Cardiovascular fitness, manipulative skills (speed stacks), and team work
Description: Students will be separated into two teams on opposite ends of the playing area. The playing area will be set up with an even number of cups stacked up in 3-3-3 stack and down stacked in 3-3-3 stack. On the "Go" signal, both teams will go to the playing area to complete their job. The stackers must try to up-stack cups and the blasters will down-stack cups. Students on the up-stack team will be given a 10 second head start since it takes longer to up-stack.
