Lesson: FedEx Special Delivery

Skills: Locomotor Skills
Description: Students will select a FedEx envelope at random and see which locomotor skill card is inside. Student must perform that skill around the playing area one time. After completing the skill, student will select another envelope. Students must attempt to complete all 8 locomotor skills. However, students must complete whatever is inside their envelope, even if it's a repeat of a skill they've already done.
Grade(s): K-5

Grade(s): K-5
Skills: Locomotor Skills (hopping and jumping)
Description: Students will have to use the locomotor movement of hopping to move through the J-Way board in an attempt to reach the J-Way Spot in the middle of the game. Students must hop on one foot, can't switch feet more than 3 times, can't land on a line, and must avoid coming down on both feet at same time. If students make one of these mistakes, then they must go to end of the line until its their turn again. Students get to claim a spot on the game board (only they can hop) if they make it to the J-Way Spot.
