Each child will learn grade appropriate skills and concepts as determined by our national Physical Education organization, SHAPE America. These skills are explained in the National P.E. Grade Level Outcomes.
THE "HOW": Students will undergo a year of learning outlined by the curriculum map below. The Grade Level Outcomes (GLO) will be taught using best practices and assessed multiple times to ensure student progress toward goals.
THE "WHY": Because an effective physical education program benefits children not only physically, but also cognitively, socially, and emotionally. We call these holistic concept Physical Literacy
